Roseville police arrested a Rocklin woman on attempted murder charges Monday after allegedly trying to run over a man in a Roseville business park.

Police said Krista Marie Wynn, 37, attempted to run the 45-year-old victim off the road as he drove into Roseville, then chased him in her car as he ran in circles after exiting his vehicle.

The incident reportedly started after a fight between the two occurred at the man's Rocklin residence Monday afternoon. The man, whose name was not released, took off driving toward Roseville, police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther said.

According to the victim, police said Wynn followed behind him in her van, then attempted to run him off the road on southbound Galleria Boulevard near Berry Street, Gunther said.

The man managed to drive into Sierra Gate Plaza off Harding Boulevard, home to Heald College and several dental offices. That's where, police said, the man got out of his car and ran, as Wynn chased after him in her car.

At one point, Wynn got out of her car and allegedly threw a fire extinguisher at the victim's car. She also allegedly broke the victim's windshield with a folding chair, Gunther said.

Jessika Mendez is a receptionist at a business in the park. She said she saw the aftermath of the activity Monday when leaving to go to her car -- which was being blocked by police.

A man speaking with police and presumed to be the victim "didn't look happy," she said.

"We're a medical and dental complex," she said. "We don't have anything that exciting down here."

Wynn was arrested without further incident on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. She is being held wihtout bail in the Placer County Jail.
