For music and dance lovers, here’s something to look forward to: the three-day long first Placer Blues to Jazz (mini) Fest, produced by Valerie V Music and Quarry Ponds Center.
“We came up with the idea to have a festival specifically for this area,” said producer and Granite Bay resident Valerie Weinberg of Valerie V Music. “This is a way of opening up South Placer County to the awareness that we definitely have some culture and excitement and fun here.”
Quarry Ponds Center owner Lisa Powers said the event is part of their continuing summer concert series.
“It’s just a wonderful festival and we have some incredible talent,” Powers said.
