Make a SPLASH at these upcoming Chamber events
Trying to figure out where to go to gain more business? If so, you will want to participate in our third quarter Business Showcase and Mixer, which will be hosted by Eskaton Village Roseville, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25. Eskaton has recently completed construction on its community center, which features a heated indoor swimming pool, warm-water spa, outdoor patio with barbecue area, community room with kitchen for events and parties along with meeting, craft and game rooms. These quarterly events provide an excellent opportunity for area businesses to showcase their products and services to the attendees. Table top display space is $200 for Chamber members, $350 for non-members. Call Angela Mellor at 783-8136 to reserve your space now. ••• Here’s an update on SPLASH, the Chamber’s annual fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 12. We now have a waiting list for interested restaurants (that’s a first). To date here is the list of participating wineries and other beverage providers that will be joining us: Astoria Wine Group, Chateau Routon Winery, Secret Ravine Vineyards, Barca International, Oakstone Winery, Moniz Family, MAS Wine Company, Sierra Vista Winery, Husch Vineyards, Clos du Lac Cellars, Total Wine and More, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Lost Coast Brewing, Tres Agaves, Bar Basic, It’s a Grind Coffee House, Espresso An More, Margarita’s from Bob’s Roseville Car Wash and Mai Tai’s from Legends & Heroes/Woodcreek Catering... and this list is still growing! To date we have commitments from the following artists: 404 Gallery, ARC-Studio 700, Art Studio Trek, Artful i Gallery Trudeau/Edwards, Axthelm, Downtown Library 3rd Saturday Artists, Performing Arts of Roseville, PlacerArts-PlacerArts League, ReCREATE and Take Note Troupe. Tickets are on sale now for $55 and can be purchased online (www.rosevillechamber.com), at the Chamber office, the city’s Parks & Recreation office on Vernon Street, Mahany Sports Center or Maidu Community Center. This annual event is a joint venture between the Roseville Chamber and the city of Roseville with the city’s proceeds going to Project Play (universally accessible playgrounds.
Want to get away? Since 2006 the Chamber has been coordinating trips to China….our fall trip is scheduled to depart on Nov. 7. The all-inclusive nine-day trip includes Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai, ancient and historic landmarks such as the Great Wall of China, Tian an Men Square, Ming Tomb, Chinese Tea Plantations, Lingering Gardens, and much more.
