Led by the double-double performances of Josh Bowden and Kris Kobzeff, the Valley Christian Academy boys junior varsity picked up its second win of the season.

The young Lions’ basketball team rolled to a 50-23 win on the road at Jim Elliott Christian Tuesday night to move to 2-0 on the season. Bowden scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for VCA and Kobzeff delivered 10 points and 10 boards.

Valley Christian unleashed its signature defense on Jim Elliott and dominated the contest from the outset.

The Lions are participating in the Antelope Titan Holiday Hoop Classic JV tournament this weekend, and they will open against the host team at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
