Roes sets record in WS100 win
Geoff Roes covers 100 miles in 15 hours 7 minutes

Geoff Roes, unbeaten in the 100 mile distance, came from trailing Kilian Jornet and Anton Krupicka finished the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run in dramatic fashion Saturday, setting a new record covering the distance in 15 hours and seven minutes. Roes shaved 29 minutes off Scott Jurek's time set in 2004. Krupicka finished second. Tracy Garneau of Canada was the first woman to cross the finish line a little after midnight with a time of 19:01:55.
