The woman, identified via fingerprints, was Jodi Jenell Jones, 26, of Sacramento, according to a Placer County Sheriff’s Department press release.

Jones’ family reported her missing on July 20.

On July 21,at around 4:45 a.m., Jones was walking in the number three lane on Interstate 80, just east of Douglas Boulevard in Roseville when she was struck by several vehicles, according to CHP spokesman David Martinez.

Sounds like suicide, but perhaps we'll never know.

Sad

some times google maps says to go in the middle of the road... have you ever used it, maybe google shoud be held lible if they are foun gilty. I hope Obama and the Dems can do something about googles wreckless directions tool...it is vary irasponsable

a_flock_of_smeagols so, Obama and the Dems to blame for this also? .....

Yesterday I stubbed my toe on my nightstand. IT'S A DEMOCRATIC CONSPIRACY!!! Curse you Obama!

Yeah, just like everything used to be Bush's fault, remember?

This was "Jodi", a young woman, someones daughter...sister...friend. None of us know the "why"...but we should wonder what would cause a 26 year old to wander onto the freeway in harms way. Wonder could the same happen to someone we know or perhaps our own child...a friend..a loved one...maybe a Mother. Such a senseless death is nothing to play politics with. The first responders have to deal with these tragedies...the general public can just comment. And too many times without compassion or any understanding.
